Damp air on west and northern coasts, a little drizzle here and there, notably on hills. Good morning, High pressure remains in control, maintaining a weather status quo. Many will see sunny spells throughout the day, though some more cloud around in the afternoon compared to previous days. The afternoon brings fair weather cloud to much of England, a few sprinkles may break out here and there but any totals very minimal - highs in central and western England will approach 28 to 30C, 24 to 27C other areas. With such dry, warm conditions, any rain may evaporate before hitting the ground, but we can't rule it out entirely. North and western areas will see a slightly different story, particularly Ireland and Scotland. The day will be largely cloudy, damp air coming off the Atlantic with a few spots of drizzle along coasts, notably on wind-exposed hills. Some of this damp air will affect western Wales as well. Highs in Ireland and Scotland to 19 to 22C, cooler in northwest Scotl and, locally staying as low as 14 or 15C. A change is finally upon us overnight into Friday. A weak cold front will sweep into the northwest of Ireland and Scotland, strengthening the wind and bringing a brief spell of patchy rain. Elsewhere, the breeze pick up a bit, but little change otherwise with a mix of cloud and clear skies, lows at 10 to 12C north and western areas, to 14 to 16C in the south and east of England.
